ProSoft Technology Introduces the new ProLinx CC-Link Gateway family of products
ProSoft Technology's new Modbus TCP/IP and EtherNet/IP to CC-Link communication gateways allow Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric control platform users to integrate a multitude of CC-Link Master-compatible products with existing Modbus TCP/IP and EtherNet/IP control networks.
The CC-Link protocol supports a Local or Intelligent Station on the network. The gateway is able to provide input and output cyclic and acyclic data to a CC-Link Master controller. It then communicates this data to an EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP/IP network.

The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) reports that they now have over nine-hundred members and over four-million installed CC-Link nodes in the marketplace. CC-Link is used in a number of industries beginning with automotive where it was first created by Mitsubishi, and now can be found in industries such as pharmaceutical, semi-conductors, material handling, automatic transfer systems and food production lines. CC-Link devices have been adopted in a number of machine, cell, motion control, and process control applications because of the protocol's speed and accuracy. Devices include robots, drives, valve manifolds, temperature controllers, mass flow controllers and servos.
