The 1500-MBS (1336 Classic) and the 1550-MBS (1336 Plus & 1305 Micro) cards allow the Variable Frequency Drives to interface directly with a Modbus Master.

Solution Brief

These cards provide the following functionality for the AB Variable Frequency Drives: Multi-drop on an RS-422 or RS-485 link with other drives or other Modbus compatible devices interface via RS-232 with full radio / modem support be applied in existing or retrofit applications where other manufacturer's devices are in use.

Simple to Use

Preparing the 1500/1550-MBS card is accomplished by connecting the card to the drive's communication port, setting the card's configuration dip switches and cabling into the Modbus communication link.

Hands Off Operation

The 1500/1550-MBS card provides transparent control and monitoring capabilities, thus making the 1500/1550-MBS card & AB Drive combination a tightly integrated solution.
